On 22–23 August 2026, around 460 competitors gathered at Barfoot & Thompson Stadium in Auckland for Wushu, Tai Chi, Sanda and Dragon & Lion Dance — connecting generations, cultures, schools and communities.

2025 Wushu Heroes Junior Ranking Competition
The New Zealand 2025 Wushu Heroes Junior Ranking Competition is open for registration. The competition will be held from the 18th of July 2025 till the 26th of July 2025, jointly hosted by the New Zealand Wushu Development Trust, Asian Community Engagement Trust, and the New Zealand Wushu Dragon and Lion Dance Federation.

Xiang Shang New Zealand National Kung-Fu Wushu Championships 2024
On the 1st of September, the annual Wushu National Championships was held at the Auckland Netball Centre. It was great to see the celebration of the athletes' hard work and dedication. This year's competition especially unique with the invitation of the Chinese National Team who graced the crowd with their show stopping performance.
