The Wushu Development Trust is a charitable trust dedicated to promoting and fostering the arts of Wushu, Taichi, and Sanda (along with other Chinese Martial Arts) in Aotearoa. As a non-profit organisation, we support a wide range of initiatives that enrich lives through community engagement, accessible classes, and athlete development at national and international levels.
Beyond martial arts training, we strive to preserve and share the rich cultural heritage of Wushu, making it accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Our initiatives include school programmes, workshops, and public events designed to encourage physical well-being, mental resilience, and cultural appreciation.
We believe in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can build confidence, discipline, and lifelong skills. Our members are passionate about the growth of Chinese martial artistry and demonstrate this through their own practice and commitment to the community.
